Rainhill Cricket Club hosted its first ever family cricket festival yesterday – an intra-club adult and junior pairs event involving four teams.
It was a very enjoyable day for everyone who took part and some of the cricket was of terrific quality. There were some very close matches and some outstanding personal performances, especially (but not only) from the junior players.
